July 28, 2020
Dear Macland Road Church of Christ family,
COVID-19 has presented many difficulties for us to overcome. This has not been easy, and we want to thank you for your love and patience as we continue to look to Jesus through these uncertain times.
Due to the rising number of coronavirus cases in our community, the decision has been made to have only one weekly gathering on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. We pray that this adjustment will be for a brief time. We will continue to evaluate the situation. In the meanwhile, we remain committed to offering opportunities for spiritual growth.
Effective Tuesday, July 28th, we pray that you will join in with our church family for the following weekly opportunities:
SUNDAYS
Worship | In-Person or Online | 10:30 am
We will continue to conduct an in-person service and live stream that service for those who are not able or ready to join us at the church building.
- Please continue to practice social distancing and wash your hands.
- Although masks are encouraged as you move about the building, they are not required.
- We are asking that families please sit together.
- The balcony is open for your convenience.
Please pick up your individual communion pieces as you enter the building.
For those who are unable to attend worship service in the morning and partake of the Lord’s supper, there will be an opportunity at 5:00 pm to participate in a devotional and take communion in the Fellowship Hall.
To give, you can a) place your offering in the collection plate during the service, b) dropoff at the church office during the week, c) mail-in a personal check, or d) use “Bill Pay” via your online banking. Please call at 770-427-3626 if you have any questions.
Youth Devotionals | In-Person | 5:00 pm
We will be moving our youth devotionals from Monday to Sunday evenings at 5 pm. The devotionals will be held in the Fellowship Hall.
For those who are unable to attend worship service in the morning and partake of the Lord’s supper, there will be an opportunity at 5:00 pm to participate in the devotional period and take communion in the Fellowship Hall.

TUESDAYS
Family Bible Time
There is no greater blessing than time invested in teaching your children about God! Each week, we will be sending out resources to aid parents in instructing their children in the Word of God. Each week, Mr. Josh will issue a challenge that will encourage the children to follow Jesus.
Parents, be on the lookout for a weekly email with instructions to help your children participate.

THURSDAYS
Facebook Live | Online Only | 7:00 pm
We want to encourage the church to stay connected to one another during this time. This will be a great opportunity for you to send in prayer requests, hear updates about the work of the church here, laugh a little, listen in on a good Bible discussion, chat with us, and ask questions.
We hope you will tune in live, interact with us, and share the live stream with your neighbors and friends.
Look for this live stream Thursday nights via our Facebook page. Have you liked our Facebook page? You can find it online by visiting www.facebook.com/maclandroadchurchofchrist.
Finally, we are praying that we will do our part to “love one another with brotherly affection” (Romans 12:10), “comfort one another” (2 Corinthians 13:11), “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2), “exhort one another every day” (Hebrews 3:13), and “pray for one another” (James 5:16).
God is good. He is able.
